NZD USD sets a new 2018 yearly lows of .7057 from a high of .7112 in the overnight Forex Trading session on April 25, 2018.
The New Zealand dollar has continued to show signs of weakness against Greenback all week. The Kiwi has been losing ground over the last couple of weeks against the US dollar. The dollar has gain significant momentum from positive 10 year treasury yields presently at .3025% up .022%.
Treasury yields broke through a key psychological area of 3% on April 23, 2018 which has not been at these levels since 2014. It is important to note that the treasury yields influence the rates individuals pay for U.S. auto loans, business equipment loans and real loan estate transaction. It can also be a key indicator on the over all directional outlook of the United States Economy.
This afternoon the NZD dollar Index is currently trading at 73.34 up +0.01% 2:37 p.m. eastern standard time. The US dollar Index futures is currently trading at 91.19 up (+.46% ) April 25, 2018 2:42 p.m. eastern standard time.
