United States Non-farm payrolls rose higher by 273,000 jobs for the month of February 2020; mean while the Unemployment continues to remain the same at 3.5%.
The recent American unemployment rate has clearly demonstrated consistent sustainability breaking a long standing 50 year low. The unemployment rate has been Cruising at levels of 3.5 to 3.6 percent over the last six months.
February Non-farm payrolls report pulverized expectations by a 98,000 jobs. U.S. Economist projected Jobs would advance by 175,000 job for the month of February 2020. February Non Farm Payroll numbers are clearly a breath of fresh air despite the recent coronovirus threat looming in the horizon.

Unemployment rate and ADP National Employment Report
- The unemployment rate held steady at 3.5% for month of February 2020, while the private nonfarm payrolls average hourly earning rose by $0.09 $28.52, following a $28.44 result in January .. Over the last 12 month’s the average hourly earnings have increased 3.0% .
- Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that employment rose in various sectors of Construction employment up 42K, Health Care increased by 32,000 jobs, Food Services and Drink Places propelled by 53K new Jobs . While the Professional and technical employment advanced up adding 32,000 new jobs.
- ADP National employment report: Private sector increased 183,000 Jobs for the month of February 2020 Small Business 1 – 49 Employees came advanced 24,000 Jobs
- Midsize Business up to 26,000 and Large Business increased by 133,000 jobs. Which continues to maintain incrementally increases at a robust pace over the 1st quarter of 2020.
- ADP Private Service Providing Sector increased to 172,000 jobs new jobs added to the U.S. Jobs market for the month of February, 2020.
- It is important to note that Nonfarm Payrolls measures the change in the number of people employed during the previous month, excluding the farming industry. Job creation is the foremost indicator of consumer spending, which accounts for the majority of economic activity.
- Additionally, according to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics …The unemployment rates for Major worker groups..Adults men 3.3%, Adult women 3.3%, Teenagers 11.0%, Whites 3.1%, Blacks ticked down to 5.8%, Asians 2.5%, and Hispanics 4.4% displayed very little to no change in 0ver the month.
- Revisions: employment for DECEMBER was revised UP from +37,000 from +147,000 to +184,000 change for JANUARY was revised UP +48,000 to +224,000 to +273,000. With these revisions, employment gain in April and May combined were 85,000 less than previously reported. After revisions, job gains have averaged 243K per month over the last quarter of 2019.
