Forex Ai Algo Hard at work CAD USDCAD trades of the week March 21st 2019

About an hour ago I received a BUY signal from our algo for USDCAD. I thought I’d use it to demonstrate to our new subscribers, how I traded it based on our online FX course. Here’s what I did… As a trader, it’s always important to assess one’s Trading Intuition Score.

Our online FX course makes it easy. In my case I’ve chosen a score of 2, which would land me in the mid range of trade sizes. Since the color code of the signal is GREEN, the algo is telling me to go aggressive or choose the high end of the mid range.

However, I’ve done well this week, and it’s now the end of the week with a lot of uncertainty still swirling in the headlines. With that I decided to forgo the GREEN recommendation and settle with Rule 37 – up to 3 lots at the MARKET and 7 lots at the LIMIT.

I started with 1 of the 3 lots at the MARKET with the hopes of averaging down. I also entered 7 lots at the LIMIT. (see below) An hour later I saw that my 1 lot had exited and my chance of averaging down had evaporated.

When that happens the signal becomes invalid, so I deleted my open LIMIT order. Notice how I used the 1 lot MARKET order as a marker to keep easy track of my trade. …another ‘no brainer’.
