United States Non-farm payrolls catapult to 196,000 jobs in the month of March 2019; which exceeded expectations by 21,000 jobs. U.S. Economist projected Jobs would advance by 175,000 job for the month of February 2019. This is a positive step in the right direction considering that Month of Feburary 2019, there was only an increase of 33,000 new Jobs added to the U.S. Labor Market.
U.S. Non Farm Payrolls Jobs Report (March 2019)
- The unemployment rate held steady at 3.8% for month of March 2019, while the private nonfarm payrolls average hourly earning rose by $0.04 to $27.70, which increased over year by $0.82 or 3.2% .
- Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that employment rose in various sectors of Health Care, professional and technical services. ADP National employment report: Private sector increased 184,000 Jobs for the month of February 2019, NFP numbers also came in the strong compared to the previous six months of consistence NFP job growth. Payroll employment rose to 2.6 million in 2018, compared to a gain of 2.2 million in 2017.
- Small Business report increased to 12,000 jobs new jobs added to the U.S. Jobs market for the month of Feb) 2019.
- It is important to note that Nonfarm Payrolls measures the change in the number of people employed during the previous month, excluding the farming industry. Job creation is the foremost indicator of consumer spending, which accounts for the majority of economic activity.
- Additionally, according to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics …The uemployment rates for adults men 3.6%, adult women 3.3%, teenagers 12.8%, Whites 3.4%, Blacks 6.7%, Asians 3.1%, and Hispanics 4.7% displayed very little to no change in 0ver the month.
- Revisions: employment for January was revised up from +311,000 to +11,200, and the change for February was revised up from +20,000 to +33,000. With these revisions, employment gain in January and February combined were 14,000 more than previously reported.
